Buena Vista Elementary students have been working hard this quarter and will be enjoying two weeks vacation.  During the break please continue to read to and with your child and practice word lists and math facts.

We look forward to our second GATE Game night.  Mr. Jim Albertson, District psychologist, will present games that will challenge parents and their children while developing thinking skills.  Parents of GATE identified students and their children are invited to an evening to learn about and play games such as Blockus, Quoridor, Quiddler, Chess and more.  Students may bring one game to share and play with others with others.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 PM.  Please look for the agenda to come home with your child on Monday, January 4, 2009.
